Chairman's Message

It is my great pleasure to launch the 13^th year of successful fundraising by Radiomarathon in Australia.

Your generosity is making a real difference to the lives of kids with special needs! So far this year Radiomarathon has approved donations of a sum of $175,000, in support of 24 organisations and individuals. Some of the organisations supported by Radiomarathon in recent months have kindly shared their stories in this newsletter.

It can take a relatively small contribution to improve the lives of children with severe physical and mental disabilities. But sometimes the cost of treatment can be daunting and out of reach for the family of special kids. Radiomarathon community has time and again risen to the challenge of providing the much needed support to these kids and their families. 100% of all net money raised by Radiomarathon is donated to hospital units, special schools and organisations dedicated to learning and treatment of special kids. Thanks to your support, hundreds of kids learn new skills, receive treatment and enjoy better quality of life. Funds donated by Radiomarathon, also assist in research towards finding cure for life threatening diseases affecting kids.

Please join us in raising funds for this noble cause again this year. You can assist by attending a fundraising event, making a donation or just by buying raffle tickets from one of Laiki Bank branches.
