Thanks to your support the lives of children in need are aided now more than ever before...
Chairman's Message
It is my great pleasure to launch the 14th year of successful fundraising by Radiomarathon in Australia.
Your generosity is making a real difference to the lives of kids with special needs - thanks to your generosity, we have already distributed about $200,000 through 25 donations so far this year. 100% of all net money raised is donated to hospital units, special development schools and organisations dedicated to the learning and treatment of these special children. The latest Radiomarathon newsletter covers some highlights from 2009’s Radiomarathon events and your fund raising efforts. Some of the organisations supported by Radiomarathon in recent months will feature stories in our upcoming newsletter.
It can take a relatively small contribution to improve the lives of children with severe physical and mental disabilities, but sometimes the cost of treatment can be daunting and out of reach for the families of special kids. Australia’s Radiomarathon community has time and again risen to the challenge of providing required support to these kids and their families. Thanks to your support, hundreds of kids learn new skills, receive treatment and enjoy a better quality of life. Funds donated by Radiomarathon also assist in research towards finding cures for life threatening diseases affecting kids.
Join us in raising funds for this virtuous cause again this year. You can contribute by attending a fundraising event, making a donation or simply by buying raffle tickets from one of Laiki Bank’s branches in Bankstown, Doncaster, Kingsford, Kogarah, Marrickville, Melbourne CBD (cnr Lonsdale St & Sprint St), Northcote, Oakleigh or Sydney CBD (Castlereagh Street).
Once again on behalf of the entire Radiomarathon community, I thank you for all your generosity and request your continuing support.
Let’s join hands to give our kids the life they deserve!
Thank you.
